How this bottle came to be
Three stages, no shortcuts — from raw oil in the Gulf to the box on your table in Sydney.
Sourcing
Aged oud, Bulgarian rose absolute, Madagascan vanilla and ambergris accords — bought in smaller quantities, chosen for character over cost.
Composition
Perfumers work by nose, layering top, heart and base. The blend is then left to rest for weeks so the oils settle into one another.
Bottled in Sydney
Every 50ml is filled, checked against the reference batch and boxed by hand here, then sent across Australia within 24 hours.

How long does this perfume last?
Our 50ml eau de parfum typically projects for 6–10 hours, depending on skin chemistry, climate and how much you apply. Spray on pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears — for best longevity.
Is this a knockoff or replica?
Absolutely not. Velvet Ash is inspired by MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 but it's an original Abdulrahman composition — blended in the UAE with our own formula. We are not affiliated with any designer brand.
How do you make your perfumes?
We source raw oils from across the Gulf, hand-blend top/heart/base notes in our perfumery, age the composition, then bottle and gift-box every order in our Sydney atelier.
